Fra Howard Maple sitt album Mapleism som kom tidlig i høst, får vi her en dobbel A-side 12”. Opprinnelig var Sal Qaeda med Salvador fra Dark Side Of The Force på rap ment som hoved-låt, men så leverte Howard Maple kompisene Xploding Plastix en så utrolig flott remix av Chicken Run, så derfor hev vi oss rundt og slo til med en dobbel a-side! Ikke nok med original og remix av begge disse sporene (Sal Qaeda i en herlig old-school electro-mix utført av Scapegoat), vi får også to downbeat låter fra albumet som nærmest tryglet og bad om å komme på vinyl: Springtime med Anja Vister fra Flunk på vokal, og instrumentalen Red.

From Howard Maples second album Mapleism, here’s a nice double A-side 12". Xploding Plastix have delivered a smashing remix of Chicken Run, stretching it eaven more towards the eastern styles, with lots of funny details and off-beat rhythms. Scapegoat have transformed the dubish hip-hop track Sal Qaeda into a old school electro track. Both Chicken Run and Sal Qaeda (the latter with rap from Salvador from the norwegian hip-hop band Dark Side Of The Force) are also featured in original versions, alongside two more downbeat album tracks: Springtime With Anja from Flunk on vocals, and the instrumental Red.
