Press info

The Norweigan partnership of Kåre Frisvold and Rune Lindbæk bring together original production and remixing skills that reach across many dancefloors.

From the might of Kåre´s Drum and Bass sound (System Noise/Monkey and Large) to the renowned Deep Disco/Balearic production and DJ skills of Rune Lindbæk. Now on ‘Diskoism’, they mould together eleven of their latest remixes.

Ranging from the New York Disco Rock of The Phenomenal Handclap Band through the now of Swedish Disco (Jackpot) and incredible Norwegian Italo (Skatebård), to US House Music (Holly Hecker) and the Balearic sound of Kurt Maloo from Double (a legend behind the über-Balearic classic Women Of The World), these are all thrown into the Frisvold & Lindbæk melting pot.

A solid, stripped Disko core is touched by Dub and Techno, the studio sound of Balearic beauty.
