Press info

Devious Dan EP is a collection of unreleased and rare tracks from Xploding Plastix. The title track "Devious Dan" was an exclusive track that featured in two videos on the "Beatservice Video Jukebox" DVD from 2006. The track hasn’t had a proper audio release until now. In addition we get two tracks previously only available on the Palm Pictures licensed version of "Amateur Girlfriends", one remix from "Donca Matic", plus three outtakes from their latest album "Treated Timber".

Even if the tracks span a period from 2001 up until 2008, they still form a consistent whole in the well known Xploding Plastix universe. From the cinematic and jazzy old tracks, to the intricate and organic new tracks. The quirky leftfield electronica is the red thread throughout the EP, with its syncopated rhythm structures and melodic base.
